Non ti muovere - dal libro al filmcon
Una ambulancia la rescata y traslada al hospital en el que trabaja su padre como cirujano. Thirst for love, no matter what the cost, at it's best! This film is such a beautiful tragedy. This is one of those great films that doesn't need overly elaborate cinematography or settings. It seems like a humble budget film, but this film has some of the best heart wrenching lines i've heard by a character, played by Cruz, in such a dire need for the opposite lead's love. Penelope Cruz is good.
It is based on a novel by Margaret Mazzantini. Oft-married Gemma visits Sarajevo with her only child, Pietro. The two of them had escaped the city sixteen years ago, just days after his birth during the Bosnian War. Diego, her second husband and Pietro's father, remained behind and later died. As they travel with her wartime friend Gojko, she tries to repair her relationship with Pietro, asking her third husband by phone if she should tell Pietro that she did not give birth to him.

A new documentary that sheds light on a comic strip character that has become legendary is about to premiere at the 75th Venice Film Festi Born in Rome in , Castellitto graduated from film school in and credits American cinema with pushing him toward a career in acting. His work has garnered numerous accolades, mostly because of his immersive, original approach to projects in film, television and theatre. Castellitto is fluent in French and English, which have contributed mightily to his international stardom. But it's the actor's trademark brown eyes and charming everyman qualities that have lent his various characters -- even the ones that are rough around the edges-- an air of dignity other actors might not have achieved. Adapted from Margaret Mazzantini's novel, the film is set in Sarajevo and retraces the story of Gemma and Diego, a couple whose relationship was torn apart because of war.
Both Castellitto and Cruz received critical praise for their performances, as well as several awards, including the prestigious David di Donatello. Timoteo Sergio Castellitto , a surgeon, gets the shocking news that his fifteen-year-old daughter Angela Elena Perino has been seriously injured in a motorcycle accident. As she is operated upon, Timoteo looks out of a window to see or imagines seeing a woman, her back facing him, proceeding to sit down on a chair in the rain outside. He notices her prominent red heels and turns away in disbelief, indicating he was familiar with them. His subsequent reminiscences about an old affair comprise the remainder of the film. A subsequent scene shows Timoteo sitting in a bar in an unfamiliar location on a hot day. The inebriated Timoteo, having entered her flat, rapes Italia and subsequently pretends to fall in love with her.
